Batting points — the run is worth 1 point. A boundary bonus is worth 4 points. A six bonus is worth 6 points. A 30-run milestone is worth 4 points; a half-century is worth 8; a century is worth 16. A duck (excluding opening batters and players who have not batted) is -2 points.

Strike-rate bonuses are split into four brackets — above 50 runs, the bonuses apply if the strike rate is above 130 (4 points), above 150 (6 points), below 50 (penalty -2 points) or below 70 (penalty -1 point). The bonuses apply to batters only.

Verify mobile and identity

OTP verification completes in under a minute on every Indian carrier. KYC is mandatory for withdrawals — PAN, Aadhaar and a bank account in your name.

Bowling points — a wicket is worth 25 points. An LBW or Bowled wicket carries an 8-point bonus. A maiden over is worth 4 points. A dot ball is worth 1 point — but only for pace bowlers, and only up to a maximum of 30 dots per match.

Economy penalties apply in three brackets — economy above 12 (penalty -3 points), above 11 (-2 points) or above 10 (-1 point). The penalties apply to bowlers who have bowled at least two overs.

Step 03

Confirm eligibility

State-level rules are enforced inside the app. If you are in a restricted state, paid contests are blocked automatically. Practice contests remain available.

Points System step 3 — Confirm eligibility
Step 03 — confirm eligibility.

Fielding points — a catch is worth 8 points. A stumping is worth 12 points. A run-out direct hit is worth 12 points; a run-out assisted (catcher or thrower) is worth 6 points each. The fielding points are split across players if multiple fielders are involved.

Fielding bonuses are the most under-appreciated. A wicketkeeper with three catches and a stumping scores 36 fielding points before any batting or bowling points. The desk recommends paying close attention to wicketkeeper selection.

Step 04

Apply the action

Follow the on-screen steps to complete the action. Where a code is required, paste it into the bonus field before the first deposit. Where KYC is required, upload the documents in the prescribed format.

Points System step 4 — Apply the action

Captain and vice-captain points — the captain's points are multiplied by 2. The vice-captain's points are multiplied by 1.5. The multipliers are the single largest swing in any contest. The desk's captain and vice-captain guide on the C/VC page walks through the selection math.

A useful tie-break: pick the captain before you finish the rest of the XI. The captain's role is so dominant that the rest of the XI should fill around the captain's likely matchup.

Strike rate bonuses — apply to batters who have batted at least 10 balls. The strike rate is calculated as runs scored divided by balls faced, multiplied by 100. The bonuses are awarded at the end of the innings.

Strike rate bonuses favour chase-side batters on flat decks and penalise anchor batters on slow decks. The desk's venue bias map on the match prediction hub shows which venues favour which role.

How does the captain multiplier stack?

When your captain scores a half-century, the base 4 points become 8 (C multiplies by 2). If they also take a wicket (25), the doubled total adds 50. The multiplier applies to the entire points haul for that player, not just the batting score. The same logic applies to the vice-captain at 1.5x.

What counts as a catch for fantasy points?

Any regulation catch by a fielder — outfield, slip, short leg, wicketkeeper off a deflection. A catch-and-bowl does not score as a catch; it scores as a wicket. The bowler's wicket is awarded plus the bowled bonus; no separate catch credit is given.

Do substitute fielders earn points?

No. Only the playing XI earn points. The Impact Player rule means the substitute is treated as the replaced player for scoring purposes — points earned by the Impact Player flow to your XI as if they were the named starter.

What is the difference between economy bonus and strike-rate bonus?

Economy rewards bowlers for restricting runs per over. Strike-rate rewards batters for quick scoring. Both bonuses carry a minimum-overs / minimum-balls threshold to prevent a single over or two balls from distorting the average. Below the threshold, no bonus fires.

Are impact-player swaps final at the toss?

The Impact Player can be named up to a set cut-off during the innings — the exact cut-off is published by the IPL each season. Once locked, no further swap is allowed. Fantasy points count from the moment the Impact Player is announced.
