A — All-rounder. A player who both bats and bowls. In IPL fantasy, all-rounders carry a role slot of their own (1-4 per XI). All-rounders are typically high-value picks because they score points in two disciplines.
Anchor. A top-order batter who plays through the innings at a steady strike rate. Anchors score points through run accumulation rather than boundary bursts. They are most valuable on slow decks.

Step 03
Confirm eligibility
State-level rules are enforced inside the app. If you are in a restricted state, paid contests are blocked automatically. Practice contests remain available.
C — Captain. The XI player whose points are multiplied by 2. The captain pick is the single highest-leverage decision in any contest. The vice-captain's points are multiplied by 1.5.
Credit cap. The 100-credit budget per XI. The cap forces players to leave value on the table; the skill is in finding the XI that beats half the room on points per credit.

Step 04
Apply the action
Follow the on-screen steps to complete the action. Where a code is required, paste it into the bonus field before the first deposit. Where KYC is required, upload the documents in the prescribed format.
D — Death overs. Overs 16-20 of a T20 innings. Death-overs batters and bowlers carry the highest variance in any match. Death-overs bowlers score points through dots and wickets; death-overs batters score through boundaries and milestones.
Dot ball. A ball from which no run is scored. Dot balls bowled are worth 1 point each (pace bowlers only, max 30 per match). Dot balls faced are not penalised but are a marker of strike-rotation discipline.

Bankroll — Player's contest capital
The total cash and bonus wallet balance used for contest entries. Bankroll management is the discipline of capping entries to a percentage per contest.
Bowl-out — Tie-break method
An older tie-break method replaced by the Super Over in most formats. Fantasy points from a bowl-out are not awarded because the runs do not count.
Carry — Stat continuity
When a batter's runs from one innings carry momentum into the next match. Used in fantasy captaincy as a tie-breaker between two equally-form options.
Death overs — Overs 17-20
The final four overs of a T20 innings. Batters who score here earn strike-rate bonuses; bowlers who bowl here earn economy bonuses. Fantasy points are heavily weighted in this window.
Duck — Zero-score dismissal
A batter dismissed without scoring. Most formats deduct points for a duck, with a heavier penalty for top-order ducks. Worth -2 to -4 depending on role.

An IPL-specific rule allowing one substitution per side, named at the toss. Fantasy points earned by the Impact Player flow to your XI as if they were the original player.
Lock time — Team-edit deadline
The moment a contest locks team edits. Usually the toss. After lock time, no player swaps are accepted, even for injury. The captain and vice-captain remain locked too.
Maiden — Zero-run over
An over in which the bowler concedes no runs. T20 fantasy awards +4 for a maiden. ODI formats usually do not — verify on app.
Middle order — Batter positions 4-6
Batters batting in the middle overs. Their points are weighted less for strike rate but more for consistency — fewer ducks, more thirties.
Net run rate — Tournament NRR
A team-level metric, not a player metric. Listed here because it surfaces in the desk's tournament previews and indirectly affects captain picks for the chasing side.
Powerplay — First six overs
The fielding-restriction window. Batters earn strike-rate bonuses here. Bowlers who bowl in the powerplay earn economy bonuses for tight lines.
Rollover — Bonus wager requirement
The number of times a bonus must be wagered in contests before withdrawal. A 4x rollover on ₹100 means ₹400 of contest entry. Practice contests do not count.
Run-out — Fielding dismissal
A dismissal where a fielder breaks the stumps before the batter reaches the crease. Direct hits score +12; assists score +6 per fielder involved.

A run-out is fielded — any fielder can break the stumps. A stumping is done by the wicket-keeper only, off a delivery that beat the batter. Both dismissals end an innings but the points are different — +12 for a stumping, +12 for a direct run-out, +6 for a run-out assist.
Is an Impact Player the same as a substitute?
No. A substitute can field but cannot bat, bowl or keep wicket. An Impact Player can bat, bowl and keep wicket for the team they replace. The fantasy app treats the Impact Player as the original player for points purposes.
Why does the team limit say "max 7" from one franchise?
The 7-cap forces diversity and prevents a "load the in-form team" XI from dominating contests. The cap applies to your selected XI from the playing 22 — not to the overall squad. The team builder auto-flags when you exceed.
