The IPL Super Contest app uses your mobile number as your login identity. There is no separate username or password to remember. Login is a single-OTP flow that completes in under a minute on every Indian carrier.

If you have already registered inside the app, this page is for troubleshooting only — open the app and log in directly. If you have not registered, visit the download page first.

If you have already registered inside the app, this page is for troubleshooting only — open the app and log in directly. If you have not registered, visit the download page first.

Common login issues

The login flow uses your mobile number as the unique identifier. The OTP is sent to the registered mobile number. The OTP is valid for 5 minutes. The OTP cannot be reused. After 5 failed attempts, the account is locked for 15 minutes.

If you cannot receive OTPs because of carrier-side filtering, contact your carrier first. Some carriers block short-code SMS by default. The carrier can enable the short-code service within 24 hours.

Section 02

Mobile + OTP

Sign-in uses mobile number and a one-time password. No password to remember.

OTP not received — the most common cause is a network delay on the carrier side. Wait 60 seconds and tap "resend". If the second OTP also fails, switch from WiFi to mobile data (or vice versa) and try again.

If the OTP is consistently not received, contact your carrier to ensure SMS delivery is enabled for short-code numbers. Some carriers block short-code SMS by default.

If you have requested 3 OTPs in 60 seconds and none has arrived, the carrier is likely rate-limiting. Wait 5 minutes before requesting another OTP. The rate limit is a carrier-side protection against SMS flooding.

If the rate limit persists, switch from WiFi to mobile data (or vice versa). The carrier's rate limit may apply to a specific network path.

Section 03

Two-factor

For higher-value withdrawals, a second OTP is sent to your registered mobile.

The number must match the number you registered with. The number is stored in the format +91XXXXXXXXXX. If you entered the number without the +91 prefix, the system will add it automatically. If the system cannot match the number, you will see a "number not recognised" error.

If you have changed your number since registration, contact support via the in-app help section. Support will verify your identity and update the number on your account.

Section 04

Recovery

If you lose access to your registered mobile, the support page lists the recovery process.

Account locked — too many failed OTP attempts lock the account for 15 minutes. Wait 15 minutes and try again. If the lock persists, contact support via the in-app help section.

The app does not currently support app-based two-factor authentication (e.g., Google Authenticator). The only 2FA method is SMS OTP. The desk is evaluating app-based 2FA for a future release.

FAQ

Login — frequently asked.

Is Login free to read?

Yes — every page on IPL Super Contest is free to read. The companion app is free to install.

Where do I download the app?

Use the download page to get the iOS, Android or direct APK link.

Is fantasy cricket legal in my state?

Most Indian states allow paid contests. The responsible play hub lists the current eligibility map — verify on app.

Why do I have to enter an OTP every time?

Every login is two-factor — your mobile number plus a one-time password. The OTP protects your wallet, your KYC and your contest history. On a remembered device, the OTP is required only once per 30 days.

Can I change my registered mobile number?

Yes, but the change requires a fresh KYC. Open the app, tap profile, then tap "Change Mobile". The new mobile is verified by OTP, then a fresh Aadhaar upload is required. The change completes in 4-8 hours.

Is the OTP the same as a password?

No. The OTP is a one-time code valid for 5 minutes. There is no password to remember. If someone has your mobile, they have your OTP — but they cannot sign in without your SIM, which is what two-factor protects against.

What if I am in a low-network area?

OTP delivery requires signal. If signal is intermittent, move to a window or step outside. If signal is completely absent, the app cannot complete sign-in. The desk has no workaround for low-network areas.

Why does the app ask for location permission?

Location is used to check state eligibility. The app uses coarse location only — no GPS pin is stored. If location is denied, the app uses the IP-based state check, which is less accurate and may block paid contests incorrectly.

Login · security notes

Five things to know about your account access.

Two-factor always

Every login is two-factor — your mobile number plus a one-time password. There is no password to forget, no email to lose. The OTP expires in 5 minutes.

Device memory

Devices you sign in from are remembered for 30 days. After 30 days, you must re-verify with OTP. You can sign out of all devices from the in-app security tab.

Withdrawal re-verification

For any withdrawal above the daily limit, a fresh OTP is required even on a remembered device. The OTP is sent to your registered mobile number — never to a different number.

Suspicious activity

If the desk detects an unusual sign-in pattern — new device, new IP range, new country — a security check is triggered. You may be asked to re-upload Aadhaar.

Recovery

If you lose your registered mobile, contact support. Recovery takes 24-48 hours and requires PAN, Aadhaar and a video verification.

Login · common scenarios

Five sign-in scenarios and the right path for each.

First sign-in

Open the app, tap the avatar, enter your mobile number, enter the OTP, complete KYC. First sign-in takes about 6 minutes if you have your PAN and Aadhaar ready. The welcome bonus screen appears once KYC passes.

Returning sign-in

Open the app — you stay signed in on a remembered device for 30 days. After 30 days, re-verify with OTP. Returning sign-in takes under 30 seconds.

New device sign-in

On a new phone, install the app, enter your mobile number, enter the OTP. The app may ask you to re-verify with Aadhaar if your IP range is new. The re-verification is automatic and takes under 2 minutes.

Sign-in failure

If the OTP does not arrive within 60 seconds, tap resend. If the second OTP also fails, check that your mobile number is correct. If the issue persists, contact support with the error code.

Sign-in from a restricted state

If you travel to Assam, Odisha, Telangana, Andhra Pradesh, Sikkim or Nagaland, sign-in works but paid contests are blocked. The app surfaces a state-eligibility notice on the home screen.

Sign-in after a long break

If you have not signed in for more than 90 days, the desk requires a fresh Aadhaar verification. This is a security measure — your account state is preserved, just re-verified.

Sign-in to manage KYC

If your KYC needs an update — bank account change, Aadhaar re-upload, PAN correction — open the app, tap profile, then tap KYC. The update flow is in-app and takes 4-8 minutes.

Sign-in to recover

If you have lost access to your registered mobile, sign-in is blocked. Use the support channel to start a recovery. Recovery takes 24-48 hours and includes a video verification.
